I particularly like the connection between self-trust and freedom. We must believe that we can, and then we must act to make it so, creating the evidence and outcomes that encourage us to do even more. Thank you for this message that illustrates that everything begins with believing that one is worthy of the things they seek.
I’m really glad the connection between self-trust and freedom stood out to you. Believing in our worth really is the first step toward making things happen. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts and support Patrick
It’s wonderful that the idea of living from a place of meaning resonated with you. It’s such a rewarding mindset shift. I truly appreciate your kind words and support, Yoli.🙏🏽.
Every word of this hit deeply for me! Lately, I trust myself more but I find that I still need validation from others about certain decisions I make because I’m afraid of being delusional or coming across as arrogant. I’ll be holding these questions close and checking in with myself frequently. Thank you for this wisdom.
I hear you. Trusting yourself takes time, and it’s natural to seek validation; we all do it. The trick is balancing feedback with your own intuition. You’re already self-aware, and that’s huge. Keep checking in with yourself; you’ve got this. Appreciate your reflection and engagement Precious :-)
Absolutely terrific work, Tinashe! I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. Self-trust and self-love are the pillars for living a fulfilling life. When we constantly feel we are not enough, it becomes had to find fulfilment in anything.
I’m delighted you enjoyed it. You’re so right - self-trust and self-love are the foundation for fulfillment. When we embrace our worth, everything in life feels more meaningful. Thank you for the encouragement and support, Harun.
When you asked the question, “When was the last time you trusted your gut without seeking reassurance?
We must trust our gut's signals over external circumstances. Because I have lived through the dire consequences from not trusting my gut, choosing fear and others advice over my own inner guide, I learned to trust myself. I learned to say no immediately if it doesn’t feel right for me. I go with my first mind everytime because I know it isn’t wrong. The more you trust your gut, the more it will trust giving you clues on what to do. Your post was a good read. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your story - it’s so powerful! Trusting your instincts, especially after tough lessons, shows real strength. I love your insight about the “first mind.” I’m glad the post connected with you and sparked this reflection. It is great to have you here Raquel M. Jones.
Tinashe, for some reason I've been thinking about life choices lately, kind of a review. And so much, I now realize, in my life happened b/c of where I'd been and who I met at certain times. A lot of my life-changing events came about almost by accidental luck (or maybe bc of it). This line, "When was the last time you trusted your gut without seeking reassurance?" reinforced the silent review I've been having in my head. I guess I've pretty much always trusted my gut. And regarding reassurance, I usually have swum against the tide. I guess everyone is different. I really liked your title today -The Quiet Revolution of Self-Trust.
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful insight. Life’s twists and timing really do shape so much, don’t they? Trusting your gut, especially when going against the tide, is inspiring. I’m glad the title and message connected with you, thank you for engaging Jeanine!

I wonder how many decisions were made in life based on not feeling “enough.” Your concept makes a lot of sense, Tenashe! This was another uplifting read. Thanks!
It’s true - so many decisions can be shaped by feelings of inadequacy. I’m glad the message resonated with you. Here’s to making more choices rooted in self-trust and worth. Thank you for your support and engagement, Daniel.
Thank you! I’m glad the reminder resonated with you. Trusting in our worth as we are is such a powerful practice. I really appreciate your kind words and engagement Marisa.
I particularly like the idea of a quiet revolution that leads to freedom as opposed to the usual elaborate lists and expectations. Thanks for another great one, Tinashe.
