Mindfulness increases overall satisfaction. For sure. Meditation has been helpful with this. It’s taught me to observe my thoughts without being overwhelmed by them and triggering an anxiety spiral.

Lovely, solid advice. Thank you 😊

You're spot on! Mindfulness and meditation help a lot with this, they teach us to watch our thoughts.

I am glad the essay resonates, thanks for engaging Bri :-).

Bri, thank you for sharing your thoughts! Have you tried Breathwork before?

Yes. It’s okay. I prefer meditation. I like box breathing. But it’s not my go-to.

The "attentiveness (to) build(ing) trust" is so elusive in this day. Thank you for reminding me to keep on "attending" to it.

Excellent piece

I’m hearing more about antifragility now and how it connects to adaptability and resilience.

I like the anti-fragile concept here.

I’ve also read and enjoyed your previous post about arguments, and here are my thoughts, if I may.

In a growth mindset, if we shift our minds from trying to be more correct to trying to be less wrong, then being proven wrong (perhaps by someone else in a debate) is liberating. It’s anti-fragile. Being proven wrong actually suits this mindset, and so both parties win.

Thank you for your insights again Tinashe.

I like the growth mindset example - connecting ideas is like solving a puzzle. It is about spotting links between different thoughts. When we pay attention, we see these hidden connections. Thank you for the feedback, Adam, and glad to have you here :-).

A very rich piece, Tinashe, I like how you explain these concepts practically.

The concept of antifragility is a particularly important one. I was fascinated by how Taleb sees it, explaining that the opposite of fragility is antifragility, not resilience. Chaos and randomness are not problems to solve, but rather realities we should learn to function in.

Thanks for this one brother. Very insightful. True wisdom worth sharing.

Great article Tinashe. I do go agree that paying attention helps you connect dots that you didn’t imagine could connect without being in that zone. Its like thats the price we pay as writers. Its about not just living our lives passively but mentally and attentively engaging to note the little details.
